Hello Seekers of the Kabula! 

Before any other news, we want to thank Giorgos @sir_minilot for painting the three Guardian miniatures that were in his review copy: Water King, Floppy and Pepethlozle!

You can click on the image below to read his review. If you like miniatures and painting we'd suggest to follow him too, lots of cool stuff and tutorials!

Unlike in review copies, in the base game you'll also find a 4th Guardian, the Isochore: half lion, half unicorn, half pig, half awesomeness. 

The vote for the Rabbit Guardian in the Conspiracy Expansion has been a roller coaster of emotions, with backers threatening to invade the Capitol to support their candidate. On BGG, "B" wins 17-14. On Instagram (including stories) "A" wins 10-2. In the comments here, I am counting Delmer for A and Mark for B. FINAL RESULT, "A" the toad rabbit, wins for 25-20!

In a few days we'll enter the final climax of our campaign, a new Spring that will double our backers, smash all stretch goals and probably break a few World records. 

We need ourselves and our campaign page to be ready for this, and YOU are the only one who can tell us how to improve! We prepared a short survey and we'd love to hear your opinion!

Livestream and Rabbit Poll!

Hello everyone, hope you're doing great and enjoying your Sunday!

We'll be livestreaming a playthrough at 7pm CET/ 1pm EST/ 10 a PT/5 am +1 Sidney time.

Our artist Blanka is working on the second Guardian for the conspiracy expansion!

We are undecided between these two designs: we like to call them the toad rabbit (a) and the gaping rabbit (b). You can read more about them on BGG and vote your favourite!

We will show you the finished artwork before the campaign ends, so you can see the full process!

Needless to say, these are sketches, the quality of the result will be the same as all other artworks :) (Blanka did a good 70% of our monsters at this stage!)

One box to rule them all

Seekers of the Kabula, we got news!

We finally have enough info to make a final decision on the packaging! 

- We plan to fit the whole Huge Package (All In pledge) within a single box. This box will include all the content of the various packages in a more compact volume, easier to organize and ready to play. To do so, we'll need bigger boxes and two new designs for plastic trays, to fit all the components.

We have a few surprises planned before it, we'll unlock it when we get to 40k! 

-The Big Package will stay as 2 separate boxes. One for the core game and one for the miniatures. This is the solution that makes the most sense, given both the demand for the Big Package and our plans on distribution.

All the rest is as you can expect it, one box per item!

We are quite excited about this update, we really wanted to have the huge package as a single physical entity. Let us know what you think of it!

New monsters and raffle (for 1st campaign backers)

Hi folks, quick update from us :)

We just unlocked Oscar, a monster which comes with a new miniature (where it applies) and new mechanics (everywhere), matching his unique personality.

What is there to say about Oscar? His mother wanted to call him Peter, but sometimes grandparents pressure is too much to take (even for dinosaurs). No wonder he got so good at digging tunnels, he had to avoid family gatherings. Elusive like a third grade cousin, it's going to be tough to tame it as your familio!

The next stretch goal is Wild Willy, the ultimate symbol of unconstrained freedom against all kind of taboos and, sometimes, common sense.

On a side note, Antonio got COVID. This makes the livestream of yesterday (which couldn't happen) a COVID RELATED DELAY. We are very proud to have reached this milestone, as so many great companies brag about it "uuuuuh look at us, we got covid delays" and we still could not. Thanks Antonio!

Hope you are having a great weekend guys, this is a quick heads up from us (to make it even better!).

Things are going pretty good :) 

Funding goes up slowly but steadily and our little family grows every day. 

We saw comments about Kabula under a few videos, thanks a lot guys, your support is great!

Many people asked for translations: We'll give a final answer before the last week of the campaign, things are looking good anyway!

We are livestreaming a full game tomorrow, Sunday, 7pm CET / 1pm ET / 10 am PT.

We'll share the link in a comment, before we start, and upload on YouTube after we are done, for those who can't make it live. Needless to say, it will contain spoilers, but you can always plug your ears and sing aloud, to make it spoiler free :)
